Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Booka handles information for the Stockholm pop-up booking site. It is adapted for the event experience, where we collect only what we need to manage appointments, payments, and customer communications.

Information we collect

We may collect your name, phone number, email address, booking details, selected services and add-ons, customer notes, provider selection, appointment time, and transaction status.

We also collect technical information needed to operate the site, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot errors.

How we use information

We use information to create and manage bookings, process payments, send confirmations and reminders, support customers and providers, maintain event operations, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. Booka receives payment status and related transaction details, but does not store your full payment card number.

Messages

We may use email and SMS providers, including Resend and Twilio, to send transactional booking messages. These providers process contact information only as needed to deliver those messages.

Providers and event operations

We share appointment details with the provider assigned to your booking so they can prepare for and perform the service. We may also share limited operational information with event organizers when needed to support the Stockholm pop-up.

Retention

We keep booking and communication records for as long as needed to provide support, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable legal or tax obligations.

Your choices

You can contact us to request help accessing, correcting, or deleting your information, subject to operational, legal, and recordkeeping limits. Transactional booking messages may still be required to service your appointment.
